Our BA program in Management aims to provide a solid grounding in management knowledge and skills that will enable students to attain any institutional targets set before them. Students who have successfully completed their studies are going to be involved in value production processes in many different areas of life. How to build strong and sustainable financial and administrative structures? How to find the necessary resources, including especially the funding and human resources needed to reach institutional or organizational objectives – and how to use them properly and effectively? Our BA graduates have to be able to solve these and similar problems in the course of their professional work.

To that end, our permanent, leading-edge academic staff are going to be joined by active professionals in organization, investment, planning, production, auditing, accounting, finance, human resources, purchasing or sales and marketing so as to produce young managers with employable skills and knowledge. Value-based education is always valid worldwide.

Detailed Information

The Management BA is taught in English. A year of foreign language prep (if necessary) is followed by four years (or eight semesters) of the BA itself, taken up by a curriculum comprising 43 term-courses worth 147 credits. During their first year, students follow IHU’s own liberal arts core curriculum — a set package of twelve University Courses covering the fundamentals of the social sciences. But they also take introductory courses in Management and Economics. In their second year, the menu switches to a group of required courses dealing with basic concepts and methods in management, organization, accounting, finance, marketing, and production. Then over their third and fourth years, students are introduced to a variety of electives relevant for their intended specializations.

BA is excellent choice for people which

  • are likely to seek employment in management, finance, accounting or marketing for private sector organizations;
  • are interested in working for various public establishments that deal with economic policies and practices;
  • have the entrepreneurial spirit to launch their own production or service startups;
  • want to undertake research or academic work in business administration, management, finance or marketing;
  • are dynamic and result-oriented, and love working with people, taking risks, competing, learning and developing all the time.
