Melike Zehir obtained her undergraduate degree from Istanbul University in Economics. After graduation, she worked in Corporate Banking for 6 years. In 2018, she completed her master's program in Business Management at Yildiz Technical University. She earned her Ph.D. at the same university in 2023 with a thesis titled "Blockchain Technology, Business Model Innovation, Competitive Advantage, and Firm Performance." Since 2022, she has been working as a research assistant at Ibn Haldun University, becoming an Assistant Professor in 2023. Melike Zehir specializes in digitalization, business model innovation, blockchain, and competitive strategies, with published international articles, book chapters, and conference papers in these fields. Currently, she is also involved as a researcher in a project related to measuring the “Digital Maturity Level”.
