He received his BA from the Istanbul Technical University, his M S from the University of Deleware and his Ph D from the UMIST and the Victoria University of Manchester. He has become a full time professor in 2008. He has published/coauthored 50 books/book chapters and  more than 70 articles. He has received various awards.
