On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, our Business PhD candidate Inzimam Ur Rehman gave a presentation titled “Sustainable Development Goals and Crowdfunding: A Natural Language Processing-Based Approach.”
The presentation explores the intersection of sustainable development and digital funding through the lens of natural language processing. The speaker examined how NLP techniques can be applied to crowdfunding data to reveal patterns and insights related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The session addressed the increasing role of computational methods in understanding donor behaviour, campaign narratives, and funding outcomes, arguing that data-driven approaches can offer meaningful contributions to the global sustainability agenda.
We congratulate our PhD candidate.
