Our UPNXT Team Wins Second Place at the “Fly Up Inter-University Idea Tournament”

Representing our University, the UPNXT team participated in the “Fly Up – Interuniversity Idea Tournament” held by Turkish Cargo on February 21–23, with the aim of engaging with young talents and increasing brand awareness.

Comprising Management students Ceren Çınar, Ahmet Tarık Yakut, Nahla Abdu, Sümeyye Gariboğlu, and Economics student Betül Yakut, the team demonstrated a strong sense of teamwork and a multifaceted perspective. Initially stepping in to replace a team that had withdrawn at the last minute, UPNXT quickly reorganized, revised their plans, and entered an intense preparation phase in a short time. Working on a real logistics case related to Turkish Cargo’s operations, marketing, sales, and revenue management, the team impressed the jury with their innovative solutions and strategic approaches.

Awarded second place at the end of the competition, the UPNXT team had the opportunity to enhance their analytical thinking, crisis decision-making, and presentation skills. Additionally, our students gained valuable experience and in-depth knowledge of the air cargo and logistics sector.
