The Colloquium on “Paradoxical Leadership: A Pathway to Self-Efficacy and Resilience” Was Held
Our PhD Candidate Alireza Ghezel delivered a presentation examining the positive effects of paradoxical leadership on creative self-efficacy and resilience.

The “Paradoxical Leadership: A Pathway to Self-Efficacy and Resilience” colloquium, organized by the School of Business at Ibn Haldun University (IHU), was held on Tuesday, April 15, in YBF B.21. The event, part of the IHU Management Colloquium series, featured PhD Candidate Alireza Ghezel as the keynote speaker.

Alireza Ghezel explored the role of paradoxical leadership in fostering creativity and resilience among employees, particularly in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector. Ghezel emphasized that paradoxical leadership involves managing conflicting demands, such as balancing creativity with control, and empowerment with accountability. He also highlighted that this leadership approach positively impacts both creative self-efficacy and flexibility, contributing to the development of the emerging workforce.

The event concluded with an extensive discussion on how paradoxical leadership can transform the workforce and working environments.
