Ibn Haldun University Business Academy Program, which was organized by the School of Business of our university for high school 10th and 11th grade students and started on February 17, 2024, was completed on March 9, 2024. While some of the participants attended the seminars online, some of them came to our campus and had the opportunity to see our university closely and experience the campus environment.
The Business Academy, which emerged as a result of the awareness that businesses are affected by this change in every dimension in a rapidly transforming world; not only in fields directly intertwined with technology such as information systems, finance, production, but also in fields such as human resources and marketing, it aims to academically educate potential Management students at high school age against the world that evolves to a new stage every day. On the other hand, while discussions on business ethics, corporate social responsibility and sustainability continue at full speed, Ibn Haldun University Business Academy teaches young minds the qualities of keeping up with the developing and transforming world and having experience in their field.
In the first two weeks of the 4-week adventure of the Business Academy, which aims to explain the field of Management and how businesses will take shape in the future to our young people who will choose a profession after the university exam and afterwards, School of Business faculty members Prof. Ümit Hacıoğlu on the subject titled "Strategic Mind and Successful Management", Dr. Sümeyye Kuşakcı on the subject titled "Leadership: Set Your Course and Take the Helm" and Prof. Selim Zaim and Dr. Merve Şahin gave seminars on "Journey to the World of Tomorrow: Smart Businesses, Artificial Intelligence, Block Chain".
In the following weeks of the academy, Prof. Mahmut Arslan gave seminars on "Digital Talent Management", Prof. Tamer Aksoy on "Change, Awareness and New Professional Expansions", Dr. Nihat Gümüş on "Bringing Technology Together with Conscience: Humanitarian Aid and FinTech" and Prof. Mustafa Kemal Yılmaz, Vice Rector and Dean of the School of Business, "Sustainability: What is it and what is not?" contributed to the Business Academy.
The Business Academy, which promises a future in its field with its success, ended after the certificate ceremony.
