The colloquium titled “Charity-Based Financing in the Era of Technology: A Systematic Review,”, organized by our University’s Department of Management, took place on Tuesday, March 11th, at 16:30, in the Media and Event Center Teoman Duralı Hall. As part of the IHU Management Colloquium, Inzimam Ur Rehman, a Financial Economics Master's student, was the guest speaker.
In his presentation, Inzimam Ur Rehman explored the transformative effect of Fintech on charitable financing through a systematic literature review. He focused on key themes such as blockchain, crowdfunding, and the evolving role of Fintech in philanthropy, analyzing trends in charitable financing.
The research involved a bibliometric analysis using databases such as Scopus and Web of Science, resulting in a final dataset of 112 peer-reviewed articles. Inzimam Ur Rehman highlighted findings related to publication trends, country contributions, productive authors, and key themes in the literature. Additionally, he acknowledged limitations such as language restrictions and the rapid development of Fintech technologies, offering suggestions for future research.
